A Passionate Tennis Coach
Dave Moreland is a certified obsessed tennis nut and a phenomenal coach. The sport of tennis is part of his life nearly every day in some fashion whether it be playing, teaching, watching or researching. Four Points Tennis represents his philosophy of having four main points of emphasis to your tennis game. These are encompassed under STEM- strokes/technique, tactics/strategy, endurance/fitness and mental game. He believes that all four of these areas need to be addressed at some level to create a holistic experience for students.

There are many reasons to learn and play tennis- exercise and health, social interaction, for the simple fun of it, and as a competitive outlet. Dave believes that competitive players need to address three elements of playing to get better and reach their potential: instruction, hitting/practicing with purpose, and competing in matches and tournaments.

The ideal student possesses these four qualities:

-
Is interested and eager to learn!
-
Consistently gives their best effort and works hard!
-
Is coachable (listens and is receptive).
-
Has a reasonable athletic aptitude for tennis (hand eye coordination, movement, agility).
